New York, New York – “Where the Worlds Meet, Opportunities Abound”. This is the theme for the Twenty-first Annual Caribbean Multi-National Business Conference (CMBC) to be held in Panama City, Panama. Great planning is underway for hosting this Conference of senior level private and public sector leaders, thought leaders and civic leaders taking place from November 10-13, 2016.
Consul General of Panama, Hon. In congratulating the Government of Panama for their vision in hosting the Conference, Jimmy McCormack, member of the Host Committee – Panama remarked: “Good days come with great news! CARIB NEWS is coming to Panama for the second time in ten years. As a native Panamanian, I am excited and thrilled to learn that my country of birth earned the right to host the Conference this year in November. It’s a great honor and privilege for Panama because of the importance and tremendous success the Conference has achieved in the region over the years. Viva Panama!”
In its twenty-first year, the conference has become the benchmark for U.S./Caribbean collaboration and discussion on trade investment, and economic and social policy issues impacting the region, and specifically the business environment. Conference Committee Member, Onida Coward Mayers noted: “It gives me great pleasure to join efforts for the second time with CARIB NEWS to host the Multinational Business Conference in the country of Panama. Panama’s robust culture and sophisticated landscape reinforces its strategic global location as access for world commerce.”
CARIB NEWS has spearheaded the annual event throughout its twenty-one year history and is again this year partnering with key officials including host country dignitaries and committee members to deliver a forum that connects progressive thinkers, companies, communities and countries. “I am excited about the opportunity that Panama will play as host of the Multinational Business Conference, by bringing together industry leaders from the US, entrepreneurs, and global thought leaders to engage in a dialogue to bring about solutions to the critical international policy issues facing today’s market economy”, Gregorio Mayers, President of GM Consulting Services and Professor of Law and Government has said of this revered forum.
Hundreds of delegates are expected to attend the November Conference which is testimony to its reputation as the conference that attracts an audience looking to reshape business and economic development on a global level.
